My life began in darkness.
I never dreamt of light.
I never knew I could,
Until I found you...

Love was never that close.
As if right before me.
Yet it vanished unknowingly,
The moment I try to grasp.

If we meet in destiny,
Why shouldn't we be?
If all were not fated,
Should we even begin?

There came a time,
I realise, I understood.
Perhaps it was just a test,
Rather, a joke from above.

There isn't much to regret.
For time never fails to forget,
Whats more is our future,
Shining amidst all gloom.

I struggled on, aimlessly,
